Changed your mind? Undo puts everything back. Your files never leave your Mac.

  • How does Grámmafold organize photos by date?

    Drop a folder with photos and videos into Grámmafold. It reads the date from each file and sorts them into year and date folders chronologically. You preview the full plan before anything moves.

  • Does Grámmafold upload my photos?

    No. Everything stays on your Mac.

  • Does Grámmafold change my photos?

    No. Grámmafold only moves files into folders.

  • What if a photo has no date?

    Grámmafold uses the date in the file when available, or the file’s date on your Mac. These are marked in the preview.

  • What if two files have the same name?

    Grámmafold never overwrites files. It adds a number to make the name unique. You’ll see this in the preview.

  • Can I undo after organizing?

    Yes. Undo restores all files to their original locations.

  • What file types are supported?

    Photos: JPEG, HEIC, HEIF, PNG, TIFF, and RAW (DNG, CR2, NEF, ARW, RAF).
    Videos: MOV, MP4, M4V, AVI, and MKV.

  • What Mac do I need?

    macOS 14 or later.
